Welcome to MysKul.
We are a group of friends from all over the world, but most of us live in
Stockholm, Sweden. We mainly communicate through IRC in our channel #myskul
on the server irc.myskul.net. The name MysKul is swedish and means "Cuddly
Fun", it's also an alternate spelling/pronounciation for "MySQL".
You are welcome to visit us on IRC, please follow the instructions below.


S S L   I N T R O D U C T I O N

Due to the swedish government legalising wiretapping of all Swedish Internet
traffic crossing the border by Sweden's National Defence Radio Establishment
(Försvarets Radioanstalt - FRA), MysKul requires the use of SSL/TLS to
participate in our conversations. Any adult is welcome, but we do not wish
to just hand it to Big Brother without a fight. Connect to the IRC server on
SSL port 6697 to join us. Instructions for different clients are available
below.

connect with the command /server irc.myskul.net +6697

Everything just works(tm), connect to the server with the command 
/connect -ssl irc.myskul.net

X C H A T
=========
In XChat, SSL is supported by default, but the default SSL/TLS port is 9999,
so you'll have to specify that you want to connect to port 6697 with one of
the following commands:

/server -ssl irc.myskul.net 6697
/server irc.myskul.net +6697
/server -ssl irc.myskul.net +6697
